• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wicked custom Job.:2thumbs:

wheels

2 thousand for 3 wheels ...:barf:wow.....nice but a little pricey
what is body kit going to cost?
just got e-mail from company

I understand what you mean by pricey but those wheels are billet aluminum as are most custom bike wheels. We feel that these are priced very aggresively because if you google billet motorcycle wheels you will find prices ranging from $1200-$1600 per wheel....that's for 2 wheelers and this is a bargin for 3 wheels.....Hope that helps you understand the price a little better. Thanks for the compliment too! :2thumbs:These are not for everyone either, only those who desire something different........I will post more pics later

On my Boss Hoss trike I have chrome wheels. the front, a chrome billet 18in bike wheel, was $1400. The rears are just chrome American Racing wheels, 15 X 10 were only about $300 each.

A valenced fender like that on the rear would keep the rocks out of the belt. I like the looks, when will it be available?

Hey tatt2r, do what I did. Tell the kid that when something breaks, Dad's credit card doesn't work anymore, he/she will be much more careful.

I guess I am the only one ?

Am I the only one that thinks this modified :spyder:is really ugly.. It appears people must change something just 'because' and not for any good reason, this certainly looks like a quick mod, and nothing else. The original is not perfect, but is sure better than this....................:barf:

I have always been one to believe that the manufacturer knows what is best for your vehicle. Sure, cosmetic mods and comfort mods are likely safe, but going from a 14 inch (or is it 15 inch) tire to a 17 inch certainly not only throws off your odometer and speedometer, it might also throw off your VSC system and change your center of gravity, thus making the bike more dangerous.

The Spyder is unique as it is...to me, I'll make it brighter from the front and behind for safety reasons. I'll add a few creature comforts and safety features (mirror extensions and the like), and a nicer exhaust system, but I'll never modify the core elements of the bike such that it could make it more dangerous on the road.

It's great to have a 'more' unique bike, but if it's more likely to get you injured, it's worth no amount of money....

;)
