Kuryakyn rear peg adapters' question

I just received today and noticed they come with set screws. I see a set screw hole on the adapter; I just don't see a purpose. Does someone know when the set screws would be used?

i saw the same thing when i got and install mine. You almost have to screw it all the way in. By the way make sure you don't loose the bearing and you put some grease on the spring :thumbup:

What does the set screw do?

How about posting a pic so we can see what you're talking about.

It's used to level the peg adapter. It goes into the surface you can't see; the arrow is pointing to the general area.

My guess is that is a stop to adjust the angle of different pegs.
