• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

KUMHO/SEARS

Then just find a 215/60 -15 with some good specs at TIRERACK.COM...................This size is OK.............Mike

Looks like a lot more tires in this size. Don't like lossing 10 mm on the width but it looks like a lot of people have gone with this size and and love it.

Who do you get to mount the tires?:banghead: I was talking with my dealer/salesman last week about tire differences,he told that they wouldn't put on anything but a tire made for Spyders, because the bead on car tires would not seal as well as a Spyder specific tire..:dontknow:At least that is what a Michellan (sic) Rep told him...

LOL :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: what will they come up with next :p

And a whopping 10 MM is what percent of 225 MM....???????..................curious minds would like to know :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: ..................Mike ............PS exactly how much effect does that 10 MM have on the traction , or lets put it this way.........would you rather lose that 10MM or buy another KENDA and keep the 10 MM ???????

you make a good point Mike.

If its actually tread width you are worried about, check out the actual tire dimensions on tire rack. 215 is a nominal size dimension, not actual and each tire is different. Some of the 215s may be as wide or wider than the 225 Kenda.

I will likely go with a name brand 215 to replace the Kenda, with an eye to tread pattern and width.

:agree:,....Also the Tire Rack will tell you both dimensions.......Total tire width and " TREAD " width........and this important , I have found that Yokohama's tend to have less of a curve to their sidewalls than most other tires ...........so for the same width tire you get more tread on the pavement which ='s more traction ++++++++ ....Mike
