• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kumho Ecsta AST

Sorry, my error. It wasn't the traction rating that was low, it was the reviewers rating.
Mark, let me know how this tire works out for you as I am trying to help my son's tire business out on the spyder end. Spyderjockey is using this tire and he has been happy and no fault codes which is my concern. It is a taller, narrower tire, but is all season capable as well as the Toyo Proxes 4. Both about the same price.

But you wouldn't help a small town Can-Am dealer and let them install it, you guys sound mad about some of this stuff.

I live in Bronte, Texas, population about 950, a small town. The Can-Am dealer and Discount Tire are in San Angelo, Texas, population about 95,000, not so small. I spent an extra $20.00 or so to buy a tire from my hometown dealer. I figure I spent some $21,000.00 or so a couple of years ago to help the Can-Am dealer in a neigboring large town. I probably could have bought it for less if I had gone to San Antonio but Family Powersports is a good dealer with good service and good employees. Not only that, but I also bought a maintenance agreement and I regularly buy parts and accessories from them. I expect I will spend some more money with them when I get ready to trade in my 2010 RT for something newer. I don't think it's necessary to spend another $300.00 to help them when I'm perfectly capable of changing a rear tire for myself.

I'm not mad about anything, in fact I don't really know how life could be any better than it is. If any of the other posters were mad, I guess I missed it. I only mentioned why I paid more for the same tire to validate your statement that it was available for less money but I voluntarily chose to pay more.

No problems in the first couple of hundred miles. One thing I really like is that my speedometer is now less than 1 MPH off, still showing a touch faster than the GPS, but very close.
