• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kuhmo ecsta ast

Thanks all

For your input. Had the Kuhmo put on last week, so I'm good for a long long time. Not too worried about wet traction. I don't ride in the rain, not on purpose anyway.:roflblack:

That the Kuhmo wouldn't last as long on an RT, what with the extra weight and all. I'd like more input from the RS- GS folks. I would expect every bit of 20 k miles out of this tire, maybe as much as 25 k.

I have gotten 18000 out first kuhmo
I installed another one but next time I am going to try something else kuhmo don't have the best grip.

I have the '08 GS, and the original tire lasted 13,000 miles, running at 28 psi. I replaced it with the Kuhmo ecsta ast with 18,000 miles on that tire as of today, with 28 psi, and I should get approx 2,000 more miles, if I don't replace it earlier. ( I should of lowered the pressure at the drag races these last two yrs at Spyderfest. I lost a a lot of tread there.) :roflblack:

I'm running a Pirelli P4 on my '14. It had 8mm depth when new and now at 11,000 miles it still had 6mm all the way across. I think 15K is not unreasonable for this tire; perhaps more.

I've kept track of the depth wear ever few thousand just to see what air pressure would insure even wear. It seems 24-25 is the majic number for this tire.

I ride one up and don't pull a trailer.
