Riding from Bowie to Wichita Falls, TX this morning -- me on my 2012 RTL and my husband on his 2016 Indian Roadmaster. Hubby says, over the CB, I'm getting a flat and moves carefully over to the side of the road (those rumble craters they cut in the roads around here are no fun). :yikes: Anyway .... Ride On kept the tire from immediate deflation and the Dunlop American Elite tire allowed about a 10 mile SSSSLLLOOOOWWWW ride to the local American Legion post. Parked, called for roadside assistance -- nearest Indian Dealer is 90 miles away; but HD is only 10. So .... I went with the flat bed tow and Indian to the HD dealer and hubby took the Spyder on to his Dr. appointment. Many hours later ... new tire and back on the road.
As the old tire had about a 1/8" to 1/4" puncture it is no surprise it went flat, but we are certain Ride On did the best it could and prevented a complete blowout (we were cruising at 70 MPH when the tire monitor flashed the warning). I know there are some that are not fans of Ride On, after today I do not think any of our bike tires will be without it!nojoke
Just thought I would pass on a positive outcome to what could have been a disaster .... MC flats are NOT FUN!
All the best ..... Ann
