• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First off I have to say, we have some of the best sponsors on Spyderlovers, but sometimes you just get blown away by a particular one and that one is Reggy at Tricled. About 18 months ago I bought the long distance high power led's from Reggy and got them in a short time, then I put them on my RT-S and found out one was bad. A quick note to Reggy and the replacement was on the way. Now.......jump forward 18 months, the other led light that was part of the original set went out,well I figured ok it's been 18months I would think they would last longer, so I decided well I better get a new one, so I ordered the new light but I dropped Reggy a note to let him know what had happened (this was on a sunday). To my surprise he answered me back and said he remembered the first light that went out and he had talked to his supplier who knew that a few of the lights had got shipped out with bad circuit boards in them. So Reggy told me that he thought that wasn't right and he felt bad this had happened and he was going to refund the money I had paid for ordering the new light and he is going to send me a new one at no charge. I have to say that this is almost unheard of in business actually going way above the call of duty and really taking care of your customer(I'm not used to this kind of treatment). But really I know he didn't have to do what he did and I am severely grateful and will always be a loyal customer to those sponsors (like Reggy)who make you feel as if you are his most important customer.

I haven't purchased anything from Reggy yet - cause what I want is always sold out DOH!

Anyway, I think there are some business owners that are realizing that there is TREMENDOUS power in taking care of people -- and in some cases -- I know of companies that have completely replaced their marketing budget with a bigger customer service budget figuring that if they take care of their clients, the rest will take care of itself. Our challenge now as "customers/clients" is to seek out those companies and support them.

I purchased my Spyder from Cowtown, when I have reputable dealer about 6 miles from my house. I had never met LEN and his crew.
I purchased my jackets from BajaRon after he spent a bunch of time on the phone with me talking about helmets.
I have purchased various stuff from members of this forum and have received that stuff in perfect shape.
I have some house projects that I have money budgeted for, but I am SCARED that I won't be able to find a good contractor to do the work - if I did, the projects would have been done months ago.

I think communities such as this are FANTASTIC for service a specific "need" in my life and I am grateful to all who participate as I am MUCH smarter about all things Spyder as a result of my reading and participating in this little community! :yes::yes::yes:
