• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

KewlMetal Risers - shop instructions

The plan is to take my Spyder in on Friday to have the adjustable risers & Kury grips installed.

Is there anything we should be aware of or should advise the shop about for these installs? It's not a Spyder dealer.
They work on bikes. Pretty sure they haven't had many Spyders (if any) in for work or mods.

If they have ever put risers on any other bike, they should be able to handle this one as well. I am going to put mine on this weekend and am hoping for a smooth install myself. Instructions from Kewl Metal are on the web and look simple and straight forward. Only time and cold beers will tell!;)

Thanks. I think they will be fine with it. I know they work on a lot of bikes.
My risers showed up a day early - which gave us time to check them out a bit (gave my husband a chance to see them before they are installed).

Will be posting pics once everything is done!

The worst they might find is that they have to remove the gauge cluster or some panels to cut wire ties for cable slack, or to reroute cables. The reverse lever is tricky, but a good mechanic should really have no problems. Have them check the throttle cables carefully for binding, especially at both steering extremes.
