Kewlmetal mirror extensions from NMN installed

bjt and I installed my Kewlmetal mirror extensions when we got home tonight. Had to borrow a tap from his step dad after dinner. Thank you to Evan for getting these to me so quickly as well. Anyway, after we put them on and were adjusting them, I am sitting on my spyder thinking, I just wasted $119. I could still see my hands in my mirrors and I just couldn't really see much of a difference. Great, I'm thinking, how come every one else is raving about these and I'm wondering if they are returnable. Anyway, I decided not to make a decision until after I actually rode with the mirror extensions. Guess, what, I am glad I have them. They do work!! I apologize for doubting. I am glad I spent the money and I am glad I have my new mirror extensions. Yeah!!

Unfortunatly with the NMN risers that I just put on - even with the mirror extensions - your hands are in the line of site. They do help, but maybe the mirrors really need to be raised up a bit as well as out, of course this would require extending the wiring. Maybe one of these companies will come out with a different mirror options to help even more than the kewlmetal ones do.

As a person of girth, I can't imagine NOT having the mirror extensions -

Okay, spent some time on the highway yesterday and now I really owe an apology for any doubts. These were a much needed mod and I am so glad I have them. I have a far better view of traffic behind me and even though I still turn and look when I change lanes or what ever, I like to drive with my mirrors. I like knowing where cars are and now I can see them so much better and easier.

Roger, I have been driving ambulances and hauling gooseneck horsetrailers for too long not to constantly use my mirrors. Sometimes that is all you have, so it is good to have mirrors on my spyder that I can use too.hyea:
