• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

KewlMetal mini-floorboards

flamingobabe

...in the pink (Girls On Spyders)
Does anyone have the KewlMetal mini-floorboards...and what do you think of them??? As of right now I ride with my feet pointing down on the pegs...I sit leaning forward...not straight up like on a two-wheeler...not really on my butt...but forward...does that make sense???? I really like the looks of the mini-floorboards....

Plus...what's the difference between the Kewlmetal and the ESI mirrow extention???????

You can pm me if you want...fb

Can't help you with the floor boards as I have highway pegs . The ESI up and out mirror extensions in my opinion are far better in look and fit . That being said I have the other mirror extensions as the ESI ones weren't available last year .

mini floor boards

:2thumbs:Hi I have the mini boards on my spyder and i love them, of course I have small feet. but if you order them you have to purchase an adapter to put them on and they also have them.

Dan did you get your goodies installed;

The wife and I love the isci floorboards but you have to do the handbrake with there's. They are not cheap but you will love them.

I just got a set of the SFBs & I have the Kwel road peg brackets and Kury mini-boards. The SFBs don't fit, and with all that stuff on my Spyder, my 14's don't either - They look nice,but I'm awaiting a RTV number....

I bought the Kewlmetal brackets with the Kury miniboards, but have since replaced the miniboards with Kury iso-pegs of round cross-section. One of the problems I had with the miniboards was that they would rotate out of position from time to time, due to being held in the correct angle with a set screw that is too small. The Kewl metal brackets are good, but the left bracket peg extender will slip out of position, due to being held in place with a single screw, which will undo itself if you put enough weight on it. You can't get the Allen headed screw tight enough to prevent this, either. I tried several times and finally stripped out the Allen hex hole. It didn't work out too badly in my case, I have a short inseam length and I simply allowed the extender to drop until blocked by the bracket itself. If I had longer legs, I would correct this problem by using a hexhead bolt and nut, or by welding or with a spacer. If the extenders are moved forward of the 12 oclock position, I suppose the problem might occur on the right side peg, although less likely as less downward boot pressure will be applied.

When you say they don't fit,is that because of all the additions on your Spyder or simply because they don't fit the bike? I'm interested in getting some.
