There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When I was looking at my RT-S SM5 in the crate Monday, the dealer asked what I was going to do when I picked it up next week. I told him the first thing was to tear it apart to make some mods. He was shocked and amazed! I tried to explain that it needed Powerlets, and a Starcom1 system, and some mudflap lights and...... :roflblack:

How is the starcom? I agree 100% about the mudflap lights. I also hope Kewl Metals comes out with the center console for the RTS. i got one for the 08 and love it. I remember waiting and wanting for the first spyder. It's a great feeling. Crowd control!!!

We love the Starcom1. After a great review in the BMWMOA magazine, I bought one for the R1100RT. That allowed us to talk while riding, listen to music, and even talk on the phone or hear the GPS. Bought a Starcom1 Advanced for Nancy's Spyder. She has her tunes that way. We have tried bike-to-bike with FRS/GMRS radios with mixed results. Excellent noise reduction and VOX on the Starcom1, best I have tried.

I have Matt's new pegs installed on my RT. It's late on Christmas Eve so I had not planned on getting out a full report on them until tomorrow. If you are going to ride any distance. these are the real deal. More tomorrow with some pics.
