• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I loved them. We had some technical issues on our new 2011 RSS and do not know if it was Bike specific or the changes made to the 2011's. Not sure what year yours is so keep that in mind.

They really help the legs on long runs and allow multiple positions to boot.

The only negative item I can offer is when it comes time to remove the Tupperware. They get in the way and require "Flexing" of the Tupperware in order to get the Tupperware off and out of the way.

The KewlMetal mounts are great, I've got a set. That said, if your inseam is more than about 33inches, look at the ESI peg mounts, you can stretch out farther with them.
One thing, if you get the KM mounts, part of the instructions say to use a pair of needlenose pliers for getting one of the bolts in. I used a telescoping magnet pick up wand to pull the bolt through, works real good.

We love the pegs. I have a custom shifter lever so I can both down and up shift with the heel of by boot without moving my foot from the peg. Works great. Also have a set of the same pegs mounted to custom brackets for the wife. Makes it great for 2-up touring.

I like the KM brackets and the Magnum peg mounts, but I didn't care for the bracket extender links or the Iso Wing Mini boards. I found that I could not get the links or boards tight enough so that they didn't swivel at inopportune times. I solved this by replacing the Wings with straight Kury pegs and connecting the peg mounts directly to the brackets. I, too, have knee problems, and this setup works well for me.

I have to KM brackets with widow pegs and really like them. I did make longer peg extenders to move my feet forward more and bolted them with 2 bolts to stop any swivel.

Now if someone would just create some forward controls, I would be all set!

Ahhh...operative statement with the 2 bolts to stop the swivel...right on! I have found the design to be faulty with only one bolt...you CANNOT stop the darn thing from moving with only one bolt...two bolts is what you need!
