• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

KENDA

I did own 3 - GoldWings and put nearly 200,000 miles on them... so i am not naïve about tire wear, but evidently you are missing the point... the weight on a GoldWing is on TWO WHEELS not 3 as a Spyder is .. you are denying facts or maybe you are not able to comprehend .. so stick you head back in the sand...

Come on man...use your brain....Tread compound and riding style plays the biggest part on any machine. Softer compound resulting in shorter tread life does not = junk. Harder, longer tread life tires are not superior (and in ways are inferior). I'd worry more about running a hard compound tire 30k+ and would NEVER go 60k on a front! :yikes:
Back to my sand cause I missed the point....

I'M ON THE 'KENDA TIRE' WEBSITE; http://bicycle.kendatire.com/en-us/ AND THEY DON'T EVEN LIST THE TIRES THEY MAKE FOR CAN AM...... when i plug in 165/55R15, it states: NO TIRE RESULTS FOUND FOR THIS SEARCH granted, that is under AUTOMOTIVE.... but when i plug in for motorcycle tires, there's just NOTHING at all that comes up for the SPYD3R's.....
what kind'a cheapo outfit are then.....?
what i'm interested in, is the: DIA. & WIDTH... does any1 know what that is...?

Kenda is probably under agreement with BRP not to discuss or post anything about the spyder tires.

If you go to Sena and try to buy that special cable for the SM10 that BRP sells with the sena dongle you cannot find it on Sena web sire and when you call Sena cannot discuss anything about that cable.
If you try to look for an Akripovic pipe for your spyder there is none listed on the Akripovic web site and Akripovic when called will not discuss anything about their pipe.
Fox shocks is the same way. Look for fox podium shocks for spyder on Fox's web site all you will find is the rear shock for the spyder Rt no front shocks mentioned at all.
All these suppliers are under contract and agreement with BRP not sell or discuss the products that they supply to BRP.

;) It must be Springtime: the "Tire Wars" are heating up! :roflblack:
Run whatever you like; some folks will agree with you, and some won't...

Me; I'm testing out a Kumho on the back of my 2014. The Kenda, (probably the softer compound...), lasted 5600 miles.

I am on my first Spyder(RTL). My old Harley never got more than 12000 miles on a rear tire. I did not do burnouts or spin the tire. Just rode down the road. I never expected it to go as far a car tire. I don't expect my Spyder rear tire to go the amount of miles of my car tires. I will be very happy if my tire goes12000 miles.
