• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kenda Kanine front tires - Where’s the beef?

Looking to replace my front tires on my 2019 F3L with Kenda Kanines P165/55R15
What’s your experience with them? I am specifically looking what the opinion of the owners of the aftermarket Kenda Kanines P165/55R15 tires. I know the original Kenda Tires were for poop.

Update: I’ve ordered a set of Kanines - what better way to formulate an opinion.

On two different RTL's I went from kenda's (there is a reason I didn't capitalize kenda) to Vredesteins, the ride on both improved by 100 percent! And I didn't have to worry about them slipping in the rain!
Can’t get the Vredestein size anymore. I currently own the Vredesteins. Yes, a great tire.

You know the old saying, you should try something at least once!!! Then come to the dark side. Some people out there are seeing good results with them, being on the front of the bike they should wear well!! Good luck!

There is no "Darkside" or "grayside" on the Spyder. They come from the factory with "car type" tires and rims - J type auto rims for car type auto tire beads. No danger, no darkside, no grayside, just car type J beads. And as has been pointed out many times, if you go to a better brand of tire you can run lower pressure for better traction and wear and overall ride quality.

Now if you really want to go to the "Darkside", you could look for a set of true motorcycle tires and try to mount them on your Spyder's car type rims and have the mismatched bead configuration, but I really don't see the point. 😁 😂 🤣 🤣

My 2015 came with the Original Kendas and they were utter garbage! I went to car tires (Federal EVO595) and loved them! They got hard and wore out and nothing out there was directional and worth a sh1t, so I decided with the reducing mileage I am putting in due to injuries to install the KR20's and holy sh1t they are awesome! Less steering effort (big deal with broken stuff and plates and screws) and I still haven't found their traction limits. And I ryde HARD. Just ask my wingman...

To all the naysayers who have the old Kendas on the brain, forget about all that, the KR20's are LEGIT....
