with most of the weight forward ...it may look cool but I doubt its of any benefit to extend the rear suspension on spyders..

Hill Climbing Maybe???

It's just for looks I'm sure on these Spyders but in the ranks of hill climbing motorcycles extended swingarms have been around for many years.

RE: extended swingarms...

They may have done that in order to keep that massive rear tire from sucking in any bodywork as the suspension cycles through it's full range of motion... :shocked:
