• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kawasaki is coming out with a three wheeler--yes, two in front and tilting.

Don't knock it until you try it!

I had an MP3-500 tilting scooter and loved it! It rode EXACTLY LIKE any 2-wheeled bike. The extra traction up front allowed very fast cornering and braking compared to 2-wheelers. In the wet or loose surfaces, it stuck better than 2 wheels. I ride hard and did 7 days in the Smokies and several other long runs cruising at 90 mph (top speed :barf:) without incident.

The MP3 line has a hydraulic lock to freeze whatever angle you set it at when you stop (think parking on the side of a hill) so there's no side stand and you can stop at a light without putting a foot down.

Admittedly, most of the tilters are butt-ugly but the MP3 made up for it in it's added front footprint and never tipping over in soft sand when parked. It's also a great conversation starter at gas stops.

The Tilting Motor Works system locks in an upright position below 7 MPH, and releases again at over 7 MPH

The MP3 had a button to lock the front when <5mph so when rolling up to a stop light you press the button and never step in a puddle. As soon as you roll the throttle, the lock auto-releases.

Yup - My new MP3 arrives tomorrow. Should be a great “tilting” stablemate to my 08 Spyder

:agree: It's a fun ride in all but the long distance high speed tours. The single jug is a bit buzzy at 90 mph. Be prepared to explain how it works to the curious folks you come across.
