• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I did a search and couldn't find anything. Since Spyder dealers are few and far between. Have you had good experience with any dealers within driving distance whether purchase or service? I purchased my 2014 RTS from Wichita June 28th but have not been impressed with anything except maybe the knowledge and customer service of the service tech. If i didn't want the Spyder so bad I would have continued walking out like I started to.

I am from Ashland and have my 2012 there for a burntzup clutch. It has been there for several weeks. We emailed and called and they finally got back to us last week not sure what the scoop is. We have repairs under warranty but it runs out in September one part was going to be backordered until Oct 23rd. We are not happy, but that is where my husband got it for me. If you find another please share info! Good luck with 2014, let me know how you like it. Safe Ryding!

I load mine uip on a trailer and......

I load my 2012 RTS-SE5- on to a utility trailer and haul it 3 hours to Pitbull PowerSports in Springfield Mo. Len, and Lamont's Garage and Chris, lead mechanic take great care of us and they know Spyders inside, outside, upside down and backwards. It's a hassle to haul it but you got to get good service and feel and have a good working relationship with the mechanic and dealership.

Wish I had better news for you. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I love my 2014 Spyder RT. I have had a bad feeling about the Wichita dealer and it has continued even with the paperwork. I wouldn't mind traveling long distance to get service if it is done right but I don't get many days off during the week to be able to travel far. I have 1500 miles and am trying to decide what to do about the 3000 mile service.
I have been pushing for people to buy the spyder so hopefully more dealerships will become available.

I'll add my two cents to Elembytes and say if you can make a way to take your Spyder to arguably the nations premiere all-things-Spyder facility where the people there actually know what they're doing and care, about it and you, you and your Spyder will be better off for it.
