• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

K&N

Hi all I am thinking of changing BOTH air filters ie engine / CVT for K& N s I know they are more noisy especially engine one but the CVT will get more air and that carnt be a bad thing any thoughts? Regards Nico 75 :hun:

I replaced the engine one but not CVT. Since filter is oiled you don't want oil to possibly get on the belt. I did this when I first got my Rally. Now I have a new replacement for the CVT side when needed.

Nico75, you’ve got some good information from these forum members. I would listen to them. cueman

Hi cueman yes I listen and take notice as Poli says I will not put K&N on CVT side thanks for advice. Regards Nico 75

In my many years building race cars I’ve found K&N filters are a waste of money. They either soak vital sensors with oil while caking your engines internals with dirt or they just coat your engines internals with dirt... btw every engine will last exactly one cup of dirt. Weigh your wants with that in mind.

Just say NO to K&N- They were popular Many years ago with 2 stroke engines to change jetting and gain a tiny bit of power- Modern technology has Passed them by forever.
