• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wondering and concerned about our Ohio Ambassador

Glad to hear you amde it safely to the Big Texan. Steak looks good and is on the menu for tonight here as well.

Ryde safe!

I got the 8oz center cut sirloin, with Mac and cheese and beefsteak tomatoes with onions. It was fantastic, and just the right size for a guy who still has a few hundred miles to go today, haha.

Sounds great, I just hope it didn't make you too sleepy later on trying to digest it all.

Sounds like you are chasing the storms. Mickey are you planning on staying on I40 across Ark. or do you plan on taking I44 up to St Louis. Should you take I44 let us know maybe we could throw together a meet and greet and buy you lunch or something, time permitting of course.

Thats what I was thinking MoLee.. If you come up I-44 toward St. Louis I for one (and others for sure) will (if my schedule allow's me to) meet up with and ride a couple hours.. Besides this route will bring you right by CowTown in Cuba MO.. You will also get the chance to see the damage in Joplin MO, not that that is something you'd like to see BUT--Joplin is right on I-44 as well.. Let us know what you decide and we will MUSTER all together if it pan's out... Ride safe..

X-Joe

Hey!! Thanks for the offer and I was planning on doing exactly that until this morning, complete with a pilgrimage to Cowtown sometime tomorrow. But, there are still severe thunderstorm warnings today for Joplin, so I think I'm going to stick it out on 40 and go north through Memphis, instead. It looks like I'm going to hit weather either way, but I figure the closer I get to Ohio the better.

I do want to make a trip to cowtown in the next couple of weeks regardless, so maybe we could do a meetup and a ride then?

If you go thru Memphis, hook me up and I can take you to the BEST fried chicken or BBQ we have to offer, my treat!:2thumbs:

Just let us know and we will make time to meet you.

Almost home, folks. Four and a half hours away, holed up in bowling green, Kentucky under a tornado watch until 4am.

Irony is I had one of my best riding days yet, from memphis to nashville on a back road, dinner at loveless cafe and a spin around music city.

I'll let you guys know as soon as I touch home plate!

Thanks for the update. Rest of the ryde home should be a breeze, or at least I hope it will be for your sake.

Home! Safe and sound, having dinner with the family. Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes. More reports from my trip coming in the next few days, now that I'm home and can compile it all!
