• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just want to say Hi.

Not sure if this is the right place to do this.
My very first post on this forum, so forgive my learning-curve.

Just want to introduce myself, as I'm sure I'll have all sorts of noob questions for the pros and veterans.

I am Dave (SuperDave_GPS) from Ontario, Canada.
I finally no longer have to give the freakin ex any more of my money, so I decided to treat myself by buying a house and have a spankin' new red Spyder RT Limited parked in the driveway.
I get both the house and the Spyder in about 2 weeks.
Can't wait.
Should be able to put a few good klicks on it before the snow hits.

Cheers
Dave

Hi Bill.
Yes, you are quite close to me.
I have some friends in Brockville, so I go there semi-regularly in my Honda Fit, usually as a pass-through on my way to Ottawa, but now I tend to take Hwy 15 to Carleton Place then to Ottawa as it's a more mellow drive and no transport trucks.

I actually haven't owned my own bike for over 3 decades now, and have always said that I want to get back on one since some guy decided to almost kill me while I was driving my Yamaha Seca in Ottawa at that time.
My fiancée (being from Ireland) is not keen at all on 2-wheeled motorcycles, but doesn't have a problem with 3-wheeled ones, so I got her blessing.
Gotta keep the missus happy.

I pick up my new red 2016 Spyder RT Limited from the Ottawa Goodtime Centre in Ottawa in mid-October, and I hope to do at least one trip up Gatineau Park to the lookout points before it gets too cold for the ride.

My brother may possibly join in on his Victory, but the more the merrier, so feel free to message me for contact info if you wish to tag along.

Cheers
Dave
