Hi SpyderLovers,
Wife and I just purchased our 1st Spyder, a "factory demo" 08' SM5 couple of weeks ago. We (I mean I) started to do some basic mods on it: 12V plug, BatteryTender plug, OEM backrest. The next couple of mods will probably be a Scorpio alarm and Evoluzione clutch slave cylinder (to make the clutch pull easier for the wife).
We've both been riding motorcycles for a while but we've never ventured too far on them. We are hoping that we would do longer excursions taking turns driving the Spyder...
What turned our attention onto wanting to own a reverse trike was actually the non-defunct VW GX3 prototype--since we couldn't buy a GX3, the Spyder was the closest next thing. :2thumbs: Hey, if any one of you ever get to talk to the power that be @ BRP, please please ask them to look into purchasing the GX3 project from VW, I believe it would be a very good fit for its product line! Sorry, I'm not into kit cars so the kit from Prong Motors wouldn't do it for me.
I think I've done enough rambling for one post. Now I'm going to go back to perusing all the valuable Spyder-related info on the forum.
