• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

just so people are aware of two bros exhaust

I bought a single stainless two bros exhaust from spyder13, he said it was too loud for him. got in the mail put it on with the help of a friend, with the O2 mod and racing air filter, also took the tubes out of the airbox. It was loud but it came with the different inserts. So thinking I could quiet it down by puttting the inserts in, they are more restrictors that have a smaller hole in the back of the can. well I put the exhaust on with 200 miles on. and at 2100 miles I lost some screws out of the back where the inserts are held the inserts in. So I replaced them with better screws and then it ripped the rivets right thru the can. I cut the can with help and riveted the back on with new bolts, repacked and ready to go with the quietest restrictor. this lasted 120 miles. I welded the back cap and magnisium piece that locked the restrictors in on it. This lasted 350 miles and the magnisium cap broke off and is lost somewhere on the highway.

This exhaust has a welded back assembly and is just as loud as it was without a restrictor so there is no difference in sound, it is loud but not as bad as some straight piped harleys.

When I called two bros they said they make a 22 dollar repack kit that comes with two sided rivets and should last 12k for miles, they also told me that that smaller restrictor is for 250cc machines but fits their big ass exhaust so they said to not put that restrictor on your spyder or you will ruin your exhaust.

I work dispatch so have to get rid of this exhaust because riding it fast is one thing but riding fast and having everyone hearing you coming is causing trouble at work so yeah just seeing if anyone else has had this problem.I ride this as hard as it will go.

I have some pic detailing this issue

I would take a good look at the Yoshi. Can be loud if you want it to but is pretty quite if you need it to be.

I think the Yoshi is a great pipe and is one of the best options if you don't want a really loud pipe. It's one screw and the baffle comes out and sounds pretty mean.

where did you get key holders can you get me one please I well owe you one lamonster you have one on your bike and the silver one your friend Don vt228:pray::pray::pray:

just got the yosh, and with the baffle in you can talk with it running but still has some crack, is heavier that the two bros but seems better made. will see if it will blow out too. Testing starts when I get up after work this morning.

Good job...love my hindle but Yoshi looks like it'd be my pick if I didn't already have the hindle...great to be able to play with it a little depending on where and whom you are riding with!
