• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just ordered my new Corbin Saddle Bags!

Well, I just got off the phone with Patti from Corbin. I ordered the Yellow/Black saddle bags for my new Spyder SE5. I figure if I ordered them NOW, than they will be ready by the time my SE5 is delivered.

Does anybody else have the Corbin bags? Let me know what you think of them. I know some people think they are just way too big, but I kind of like them. Gives the Spyder a MORE unique look in my opinion.

Anyway, I guess you can tell I'm really excited about getting my Spyder. I think these final few weeks are going to be very painful, but I guess I can PRAY for an EARLY delivery!

You do know that you are going to have to lower your exhaust or if you install a Micron or Hindle a new bracket from MM will be necessary. If memory serves me right, that's what MM said in his review and the pictures on their website show the exhaust lowered also.

I thought you only had to alter the exhaust if a new/different pipe was installed. Am I wrong?

Will the Corbin bags fit without moving the original exhaust pipe? If not, how big of a deal is this?

While at Americade I mentioned that to the Spyder team as well. They looked at the Corbin site and said that it looked like the original pipe without modification. The guy at the Corbin booth said it was stock pipe with no mods. I know it;'s all second hand info, but I think you should be alright. I like the bags too and will be getting them for my SE5 as well. Pricey - but they look great and are big enough for almost anything :2excited:
