• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just ordered a new rear "car tire"

Updated thread was timely. Was getting ready to take Spyder to dealer to do 12,000 mile service and change rear tire. Thanks for the saving$.
12,899 miles on stock rear -not bad for the way I ride and the numerous compulsory burn-outs....;)

Was caught in a torrential downpour last Saturday and water was coming across the highway and "ponding". First time I've experienced the rear end hydroplaneing! Pucker factor went off the chart:yikes:

I had that happen in the dark at 70mph towing a loaded trailer. I can relate to your statement. :2thumbs:

It happened to me at 75mph in heavy rains on my way back home from the Chicago event. Still haven't gotten the new Ecsta put on though. I guess I'm going to ride every last mile out of the tire. :D

I think mine came form the Tire Rack. Not sure as dltang ordered them for our Spyders.

Yes we got ours from tire rack. I believe they came to $70 a piece delivered. Very happy with the tire. Have to play with the psi a little for your taste though. They have a higher psi than stock. I keep mine between 40-45 psi.
