• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My order finally came in today at Berts. My initial order was the Carbon Fiber finish, however I got a call from Berts that carbon fiber finish is not in production yet for the Spyder... So I settle for polish finish since they guarantee i will have it by today.... I been dying to find out what my Spyder will sound like and the full potential.... and little did i know what to expect...

Installation was very straight forward, took approx 20mins for removing stock exhaust to mounting my new exhaust on.. and I was finally ready to start the bike.... VROOOOOOOOOOM.... VROOOOOOOOOOM..... my wife said, WOW the beast is alive !!! HAHA.. the result was Ridiciously LOUD !!!! but exactly what I was looking for.... I have compare this with other exhaust, by far Two Brother is WAYYYY louder than another pipes out there....

Not sure if this pipe will suit everyone.. is a bit louder than i expected, and long ride would not be comfortable with the loud exhaust note... but if you are looking for deep, and loud exhaust note.... I think this is the best choice !!!!

I will also install Ken's O2 sensor tomorrow to provide better performance..

Will post pics tomorrow.....

This is good to hear. The feedback on the 2bros has been mixed so far so it's nice to see they might be headed in the right direction.

Can't wait to see the pic!

I found the two brothers pipe two be a little too loud so i'm getting the P1 power tip to tone it down 3 or 4 clicks...costs only 25 bucks so it's not a major cost...
BTW the pipe is much louder than the full race termi system thats on my Ducati 1098s

I finally heard a Two Brothers this weekend. It is louder than the Hindle but sounds great. I personally like the looks and tone of the Hidle better but the Two Brothers is a hell of a good pipe and have a definite rumble to it.

LOUD PIPES

BE CAREFULL SPYDER LOVERS. I PUT BIG SHOTS ON MY VTX1300 LOVED THEM THEN, HATE THEM NOW. IF I END UP KEEPING THE 1300 I WILL EITHER CHANGE THEM TO MORE QUIET PIPE OR PUT THE STOCK ONES BACK ON. ALSO WHAT FROM I HAVE HEARD AND READ A LOT OF THE CITYS AND ARE GETTING TOO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT LOUD BIKES, THEY ARE STARTING TO CRACK DOWN ON LOUD EXHAUSTS. TICKETS ARE ABOUT $150 TO $200.
I WILL BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN I PICK OUT NEW PIPES FOR MY SPYDER.
SO FAR I AM LOOKING AT MBRP, BECAUSE THEY HAVE AN INSERT TO MAKE THE PIPES MORE QUIET.

I went with the single pipe. however i have to agree, is a bit too loud.... i am also going to be purchasing the R1 tip to tone down a bit !!!

Trying hard to ignore the irony of complaining about loud noises while using ALL CAPS!

:P

Colorado state law passed this year...All motorcycles 1975 and newer are required to have the original factory exhaust...laws are quickly popping up regarding exhaust, even HOAs have rules against motorcycles. I have seen signs in metric and Harley shops warning riders that this is being very closely looked at and to avoid loud exhaust or all rights may be lost.

Two Bro's exhaust

:congrats: I'm glad to hear that you like your exhaust! I have the dual from Two Bro's and I just love it! It is loud, but that is what I wanted. I rode to Pismo and back about 500 miles and had no problems with the noise level. For right now, I'm enjoying the ryde!:doorag:

I would have much less problem with this if all cars were also required to have factory exhausts. This discriminatory type of legislation must be stopped! Find out which dummies voted for the bill, then vote for someone else. Unless we stand up and get heard (and not through our exhaust pipes) we will get run over. In the end, motorcycling will be but a fond memory. OK, someone else's turn on the soapbox. Sorry...

I picked up the TwoBrother Power Tip today and quickly installed to hear the difference. at first i was happy to have a lower tone and quiter bike.. however as i was a few blocks away, I find that the Power Tip completely subpress the air flow, and the sound was terrible.... more of a lawn mower sound.... so i turn around and remove the Power Tip immediately. My suggestion is dont waste your money on the Power Tip.... Two Brother is naturally loud, Therefore if you want a quite Exhaust... this will not be a good choice !!!! :dontknow:
