• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

they also changed the service panel at the belleville motorcycle mall. I waited 3 hrs with an appt.:bdh: and, i was told they dont check all the fluids unless!:banghead: i ask for it to be checked at

95.00/hr and it's extra.!!?? and they were not sure when i should bring it back for the next oil change srvce guy said 2500miles. the mngr said 4600miles and he said next time i have to have a complete service which includes plugs and air filter. I:chill: wonder if i need that ? And more importantly whats that gonna cost???.:gaah: this trip was 119.00 including the panel change .i paid $300.00 for the 600 mile service the oil change on my escalade at the cadillac dealer was only 32.00 with a free car wash included.... what gives brp you need to rein in your dealers!!!!:chat:

According to the service manual spark plugs are replaced at 14,000 miles or 2 years (whichever comes first) and the oil change interval is 4,600 miles. This info is also in your Owner's Manual.

If they change your spark plugs and do not also change out your spark plug wires you are likely to have ignition issues when they are done.

Had an issue with our dealer too. Took Bruisersbaby's 2010 RTS in for a "full" 11,000 service. Got it back on a Friday and had brake failure code on the following Monday. Paid an extra 169.00 to have the brake fluid changed. Found out it's supposed to be done at 4600 miles or two years. Between the "full" service charge and the brake fluid change it was almost $500.00. Total of 6 days in the shop.

Strange!!

they would charge extra for checking fluid levels. Something that can be done while oil is draining. If topping off is needed I could see a charge although as long as I worked for dealers we always did that at no charge..seeing as the regular service interval is at 6000 at 5000 you basically got an oil change. Beware they don't change you oil again at the next full service. Have to watch some dealers....:gaah:

Huh?

Ref the above, not correct.
Check the service bulletin from last summer. Oil change and service intervals are increased.

Tuck
