• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got this today.

According to FL DMV regs this will allow Iktome to use the restricted mobility parking. Only problem is that I have to go to the farm to get the special bit to change the plate!

The toolkit has the bit needed if your using stock hardware(hopefully you keep it in the trunk)

How do other states accept it when parking in the Restricted parking spaces? I have handicap plates on my spdyer here in TN

:2thumbs: Looks great Coyote. Hope you are doing oaky. Are you planning on going on the ryde in the morning?

Don't forget the little Super Velcro 3M thingies (I forget their real name.) There have been plate failures if they aren't installed. Nancy has a "Handicapped" plate, as they call it in Michigan, on her Spyder.

I just figured the little "star" bit screws were from PMS since they installed the plate. I believe that all states accept what is valid in your home state. Funny thing is when I got the hanging tag for the Subaru the application said the DV plate was NOT good for parking or free meters. I had planed to get the wheel chair plate but the clerk showed me the rules and gave me the pretty one!

Sorry, promised Crow Dog we would take him to the Strawberry Fest. He has been feeling pretty cooped up since his accident. I had my weekends mixed up. BTW, got the call yeaterday from UAB, I am now on the transplant list!

I have to go look for the messages to see what that is about and where to get them. FL has that plate as well but not as pretty as the DV red, white, & blue!

Great News!!! :2thumbs:  Is the Strawberry Festival is Elberta? Fang is still at PMS - I am supposed to get it back tomorrow. Too late to go on the ryde to the Shed but I will be doing a little ryding to test Fang out. Hoping to have Fang out of the shop by 10:30 AM

It is in Loxley!

The 3M product is called Dual Lock. Here is one site where you can buy a small amount of it. There was another that was posted on here a while back but I can't remember the name of that retailer. This stuff is really good for outdoor use. I think it will last longer in exposed applications than traditional velcro tape.

Thanks guys!!

NancysToyThe BRP dealer offers them, too, but probably at inflated prices.
