• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just got here from "The Dark Side"

welcome and :congrats:. Remember, at some point that "previous girlfriend or boyfriend" starts looking good again.

RESIST THE URGE, IT WILL PASS!

:congrats:welcome
I know what you mean about your Harley. I bought a 08 yellow #353 I just bought a RT-S. Haven't rode the Harley sense 10/08 and still don't miss it. But I still like to look at her every now and then :doorag:

Welcome aboard. That's where I bought my :spyder2: also. Great people to deal with. I live in West Palm Beach. The two dealers closer to me down here didn't seem to want to sell motorcycles. They were more interested in taking their smoke break.

I traded in my Harley also. They met me at the door, showed me the :spyder2: and let me test drive. I was in my truck, so didn't have the Harley. I did have a picture of it on my IPhone. I emailed the picture from my phone to their sales manager, they gave me a figure and I bought it. AND they trailered it home for me (200 miles) as I wanted to get a few back roads miles before attempting the turnpike.

A good experience :2thumbs:

Looks fantastic!!!:ohyea: Does it have a different ignition switch?? Do you still have to go thru all the modes to get started?? You'll love that baby.:congrats:

:congrats:welcome I recently took delivery. I can't stop hopping on it. And when I'm not ryding, I can't stop walking out to the garage to look at it.:ohyea:

Have Fun! Ryde Safe!

Congrats on your new ryde! I know just where you're coming from. I traded in my 2007 Ultra Classic for my new 2010 RT-S (Timeless Black) and haven't looked back. Loved my Harley, but LUST my Spyder!!! Enjoy your new ryde, my friend!

The trailer is made by a company in Texas. Drop Tail is the name. The dealer is in Stuart FL. PM me if you want more info on it. And yes it is a 2011. I believe the first in Florida. I picked it up the day it was unloaded. 12/20.

And again thanks to all for the great replies.

Here's a link to a YouTube video on the trailer. It's a great trailer. I live in a gated community that doesn't allow motorcycle traffic, so I have to trailer it two blocks.

Based on the discussions here about the spyder not being a motorcycle, did you tell the 'powers that be' that it is a roadster.
