• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just curious:

If the front trunk is the Frunk, then is the rear trunk the Runk? Are the side trunks, Sunk? Just curious.

Then...!!

There is always "The Boot"...how would they designate that..?? :roflblack::roflblack: the toe, the hee, rarch and larch...:dontknow:

I am going to sit back and finish my Jim Beam on the rocks. Pain killer for my afternoon ride.

:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

FRont trUNK= frunk
REar trUNK = reunk
SIde trUNK = siunk

or
Front trUNK = funk
Side trUnk = sunk
Rear trUNK = runk

1/2 one 6 the other.
both are consistent

I don't know if Bill rode...

...But he summed it up pretty well:

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"

But I DO like "Stunk". :roflblack:

A side-storage area is a "sunk." The left one is the "lunk" The right one is the "rughnk," and it's pronounced the same as the runk, so you have to understand the context. This is probably why people usually just say "side-bags."

It's not commonly known, but a cargo trailer is also correctly called a "tow-trunk."

Australian complication

I'm enjoying this thread.
Of course in Australia we don't have a Trunk on our vehicles - we call it the Boot.
SO that makes:
front boot = FROOT
left side = LOOT - always handy
right side = ROOT - for this one, think like an Australian - different meaning here lol.
