Just curious where are you staying the night before Lamont's BBQ? MV or Greenville?

Now that BRP has put out the schedule of events I see that things wrap up in Maggie Valley noonish on Friday. I had planned on staying in MV Friday night and checking out Saturday then staying in Greenville Saturday after the BBQ. I'm just wondering what the rest of you are doing? I did call the Comfort Inn in Greenville last night to see if I could get a room on Friday and they told me that it would be at $89.99 versus the $69.99 rate for Saturday.

I've got a res at Day's Inn for $65. But someone posted here about the local chamber trying to arrange some special rates. If they can, I'm open to moving to a better place.

Cindi & I are going over to Greeneville on Friday later in the afternoon spending the next 2 nights at the Quality Inn.

BRP wraps up at 3 pm not noon on the Fri.Bear in mind you have to be present for the drawing of the trip to Europe which is being drawn on Fri after the lunch.It will be redrawn if you win and are not there.

I would think that there are going to be a herd of Spyders heading from MV to Lamonts on Saturday morning. It would be neat to have a meeting place and a departure time so everyone that wants to ride together can.

Maybe the leader of the pack could be someone who actually knows where they are going :bowdown::bowdown:

You might be able to change your MV reservations and get yourself a room in Greenville. If I remember correctly it is about 50 miles between the two.
