• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

. . . . . I cut my demo ride short so I could get back to the dealership and order one. :roflblack:

Congratulations!

I remember your excitement about 2014 RTL, now your choice made me think F3 again. I'm avoiding F3 test ride just because I'm affright that I'll get infected with F3 virus and I'll have to part with my all suit up and adored RSS.
Ride it 100 smiles per hour Guzzi.

Gonna miss my 2014 RTL, - NOT

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face

Enjoy

I never had a CanAm before. Is the new one that much better you tossed a 2014 RTL so quickly?

Just more of a SPORT touring machine, at least that is what I am making it into. Farkel city this weekend. Have Givi hard bags already mounted, blue ridge windshield, power outlets, floorboards, Cannonball seat, and gps ready to go. Trip next week, so gotta get it ready..

Question!
How did you mount the Givi's?

Thanks

Pretty simple. Just used The Givi Wingracks and one bolt hole to the F3s rear grabrail. At the front of the wingrack I used a 4" flat plate to mount to the front bolt of the grabrail, and the plate then drops down to match up with one of the holes in the Givi wingrack. Real solid fit, and the bags just snap right on. Maybe an hour to figure out the first side, and 15 min for the opposite side.

Could the akrapovic from 1330 RT be fitted on the F3 without mayor changes?
Just curious.

Those Givi bags are a good fit. What size are they?

The Givi bags are some older 33 litre leather covered bags i happened to have. They are not available anymore, however any of the newer Monokey bags will fit. The wingracks are still available from Givi. Check their catalog. Here are a couple of photos, showing the Givi Wingrack. One longer bolt at the upper rear, and a 4" long 1/8" strap at the front, to go from the grabhandle bolt down to the wingrack. Really simple, and very sturdy. A quick way to mount a new pair of Givi removable hard bags. Next project is the Givi Trunk rack.
