• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just found a post I wrote 10th Feb 2014 about the 1330 engine:
It would be nice to see BRP use this engine to produce a cruiser/streetfighter model that looked a bit like a Triumph Rocket III, the engine sounded like it would be good for that but that's probably dreamland:-)
After looking at the F3 my lawyers will be contacting Can-am shortly:-)

WELL YOU ASKED FOR IT

.......Since BRP is obviously paying attention to what you have to say :ohyea:.....could you say this..." let's move the rear wheel air valve to the other side of the RIM, it should have been there in the beginning "................................Thanks ....Mike

I know the feeling. I had my 2008 dressed just like the ST before they came out. I did add a top trunk in addition though. They could have stolen my idea. This was my Spyder in 2009 and the ST debuted in 2013.

Im pretty sure most of their new models are a few years in the making, not months lolol.
I found out at a BRP launch at my dealers that the original idea and concept for the Spyder
started almost 10 years before the first Spyder was sold. And I think they said the ST was over
2 years from concept to shop floor.
