• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

just bought new 2023 Sea to Sky

2019 has the regular Baja Ron bar. Yes i ordered it with the BR metal endlinks. And yep installed it myself. :ohyea:

Still have not contacted BajaRon yet for the 2023 S2S but will go with the Ultimate 3 piece one for that. Been doing many orders for both bikes recently !!! Latest from Lamonster for phone mount for 2023 S2S and front tires from Tire Rack for the 2019 RTL.

Did he install the BajaRon ultimate sway bar ? looking for feedback on the install and results?

HI WRCLR,

Yes, he did install the BajaRon ultimate sway bar. The install went well. Here are the results: On the left side he had to tighten up the block ( to the point where there was a small dipole, he thought he would break the screw). Send him a pm to get more info.

Got the new tires installed on the 2019 RTL, 165/60/15 Continental ContiProContact. Seems less darty now initial impression. Original owner had let the bike sit for ~1 year and tire pressure was 5-9 psi when we picked it up.

Set the Conti to 21 psi same as our new 2023 S2S front Kendas. My tire guy said they took ~1 oz each to balance. Old Kendas had ~7 oz on one and 4 oz on the other ( not ) there was no run out or vertical out of round on the Contis as he spun balanced them

So we will see if they perform better over time on various roads and surfaces. Tire Rack did not have anything for Q5 except 185/55/15 so doubtful they would,ve fit

Ride on !!!!!

If it were mine, I would lower the air pressure on both of them. On the 2019 Continental 17 to 18 psi is plenty and what most here run, myself included.

Understood. I need to put some miles on it seeing how it handles and then test different tire pressures. Will be taking tread depth readings at regular intervals.

I appreciate everyones help !!!

BTW i installed the BRP drivers seat back rest on the S2S this afternoon. :-)

Just a quick update on the new Continental tires on the 2019 RTL...

Driving with it on a 100 mile trip on the highways and isnterstates this weekend in North Georgia, I am happy to report a noticeable difference in stability with much less "darting". Buffeting from truck and other vehicles passing was much less, too

Was even able to use cruise on with right hand off the bars ( i have really bad right shoulder ) and the Spyder tracked straight !!!!

I think the combination of the 165/60/15 at 21 psi is good for now. Definitely soaked up minor bumps better than the 165/55/15 crapendas did. I will however continue to monitor tread depth across both fronts and will adjust if need be

I appreciate all the comments and help everyone provided for me

Dropped the front tire pressure on the 2019 RTL Continentals to 19 psi. Still handles well, but no longer "nervous" I might try 20 psi but need to look at the rear pressure on the stock Kenda which is set at 25 psi for now. Bikw now has 4400 miles on her so we have put ~ 900 miles on it in 1 year of owning it....

I just picked up my Sea to Sky on the 15th. Looking forward to fun again.

Does anyone know the reason (besides money) that the luggage is no longer included on the 2023 Sea to Sky like it was in 2021? You would think when you buy the top-of-the line Spyder you would get a little more than the graphics and a better seat.

Where are you located? Never mind, I see where. Enjoy! Question, did you get the luggage with yours included in the purchase price?

MCole, I never received any luggage when we bought our S2S in August either. First Spyder for us to buy also. In northern Wisconsin.
