• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just about ready for the SpyderLovers gang

I spent most of the day trying to getting ready for you all to show up for the BBQ. It's funny how you do all those things you've been putting off for months just to try and make it look like you always take care of your place like that. :D:opps:

BajaRon spent a few days cutting tree limps on the road for me with his two boys along with my son Alex, we now have three huge burn piles to torch but they won't be ready for that by Thursday if it keeps raining like it has been. I love a good fire. :doorag:

My wife ordered a big cake that will have the SpyderLovers logo printed on it. Should feed 100 or so folks. The BBQ guy came over and we figured out where we are going to put his trailer. I have lots of land but just about none of it is flat so that can be a problem.

It didn't rain all day yesterday and I had planed to go to the Snake for the Rally in the Valley but I didn't get done here till 3 pm so I jumped on the RT and headed that way. I got about 30 miles into it and the sky was black all round me and really looked bad toward Shady Valley. I decided to turn back seeing I'm sure there would be nothing going on in that kind of rain. :sour:

The forecast for Thursday is looking pretty good so I hope the weather hold out for us. Looking forward to seeing you all. :doorag:

Great for all the effort you have been doing for the BBQ and all the other stuff as well.

RAIN... heck in FL we call that Liquid Sunshine.

However, Wet is Wet and I hope we don't have any real rain durning the week of the event.

This forecast doesn't look to favorable for no rain.
