Wednesday

:coffee: Going to be another grand day here in Indiana, 58°F now. No rain in the forecast for today. Absolutely, nothing like a morning ryde time.
High of 82°F with sunshine, low of 56°F
Yesterday miles were 130.

I'm trying to get more saddle time with the wife.

My early Father's Day present was put to use yesterday. I received two Sena's. The wife was very happy with the way they worked.....:shemademe_smilie:

Motorcycle Dave (a vendor on this Forum) had what we wanted and we purchased the Sena's from 'Good ole Dave.' A big thanks Dave.

At 11 AM it was 106. Heading for 115+ in the desert S.W. today and again for the next few days. Last evening at 7:30 PM we had a few distant flashes of lightning and a little spotty rain. By spotty, I mean it just made spots on the driveway. Not enough to make it wet or to measure. The air conditioning seems to come on for a little while almost every hour when it gets this hot outside. Stay safe. I'll be at the pool..... Jim

Thursday

:coffee: Welcome and Good Morning to you 56°F in good ole Indiana. The temperatures are starting to get hot and humid. Enjoyed the Ryde Time yesterday and the wife was able to come along. ...........
Smile Miles: 67

Today 88°F with lots of Sunshine, low of 61°F.

Be Healthy. .......

Sounds like you lot are getting some warm ryding weather over there; while here in Oz, on the other side of the World & a fair bit further South, we're in the middle of those 'flooding rains' - mentioned in the "Land of Droughts & Flooding Rains" poem about the Sunburnt Country that I love! - apologies to Dorothea McKellar

Still, the rain, wind, & cold hasn't (quite) stopped me ryding (yet :p ), but in those few parts of the Land Down Under that do actually get snow, we've had a real rip snorter of a start to our Snow Season, altho no-one's getting quite as much snow as they used to get 30-40+ years back! But it is pretty cold for this time of year in Oz - most days here in the Hills of South Aus are barely making it outta single digits (°C) and the wind chill is dragging the 'feels like' temp down into the low single digits most days, even lower on some!! For a while there, we saw regular bus loads of Brass Monkeys heading North, but not any more.... it seems that all those left this far South are already knackered, so they just can't be bothered now! :dontknow: Who'da thunkit that back a few months when we were pushing the high 40's, doing things like dodging melting asphalt, & ryding in the wee small hours to avoid the heat?!? :gaah:

Yesterday it was 101° and today it will be 104 with winds close to 30 miles an hour. Nice thing about it I won’t have to fire the grill up. I’ll just leave them on the sidewalk.

Las Vegas 110 and higher all week, drove the car to work yesterday outside temp gauge read 122. Just to hot for any enjoyment riding the spyder. Mornings are ok, but by quitting time its just to much, 8am and already 95 out side.

The temps are cool here, in the 70's, sunny. Starting tomorrow the temps will be warmer, highs in the 80's.

It has been unusually cool here for this time of the year. We usually get temps in the 80's.

I put some ribs on the BBQ yesterday. My grill is stainless with black trim. It sits in the sun until the late afternoon shadows take over. I like to SLOOOWWW cook my ribs and when I started to put them on at about 11:30 AM, I noticed the temperature of my BBQ was a tick above 200. I just place the ribs inside without lightning the grill. Left them that way for a couple before lightning the grill. There were no leftovers!!! Another 115 degreed day here in the desert S.W. A good portion of the Western US is experiencing record heat. This is expected to last for 4 or 5 more days. Stay cool and safe..... Jim

I'm originally from Phoenix and currently living in Vegas. As kids we made solar ovens with glass and aluminum foil and would cook hot dogs and eggs in the back yard. I'm retired Airforce and have lived been all over the world with the last 7 years in northern Italy, not use to the heat anymore hate even going outside during the afternoon. Still working as a civilian now with the F-16 maintainers at Nellis and really don't like it when I have to go outside to help fix a jet. gets about 130 or so on the ramp during the day.

Finally Friday

:coffee: Well yesterday's sunshine was 93°F. Ryde Time temperature was 68°F to 80°F. This was my early morning ryde time (8:30 am to 11:30 am).

Smile Miles: 136 .....:ohyea:......:ohyea:

The temperature this morning (5 am) was 72°F and some clouds/rain on the way.

The weather people are saying heavy rains are coming this morning (60%) and in the afternoon (80%). They are also reporting that we will have a 'Heat Index' of 100°F to 105°F, in the afternoon. ..:f_spider:

Today's high 93°F with sunshine/rain. Low of 68°F.

Everything is good for now.......

We are going to do some dusk rides. Once the sun goes down, it is not to bad. A little bit of cooling to the air. Yes, we will watch out for the deer. Both of our F3l's are lit up like Mack trucks for those night rides. Lots and lots of lights.

Weekend Weather

:coffee: Today rain and more rain here in Indiana, 70° now. I didn't get any time to Ryde yesterday as it was little to hot for us.
I enjoyed the visit with my mom who is going through rehab for her broken Femur. Her progress is moving slowly and now it is a wait and see.

Today's high 82°F with rain, low 68°F.
Sunday's high 88°F, clouds/rain, low 73°F.

Enjoy your Weekend and be Safe. ....

Monday

:coffee: Welcome to Monday in Indiana, 73°F now.
Had Wonderful Fathers Day with the family. My daughter and husband were down.

Today high 80°F with clouds/rain, low 50°F.

May your day be good. ......

Smile Miles: 210. ....... .... ... for the weekend.

Finally, a break in our 90 degree days. 70 today. Woke up to t-storms. Been raining on an off all morning. A bit of a cool down ahead. Supposed to be low 80's through Thursday of this week.

After more than a week of 115+ temperatures, it finally dropped to a high below 110 in the desert S.W. Today I was able to peddle my tricycle to the pool and back. It actually felt pretty good at 108. I think my high temperature tolerance level is right at 110. For me there seems to be a huge difference in comfort above 110. Stay safe..... Jim

Tuesday

:coffee: Good Morning, 52°F now, guess it will be cooler for a few days. My kind of weather and great ryding temperature. Going to crank out some Spyder Miles today. Blue sky and sunny all day here in Indiana.

The farmers are saying bring on the cooler temperatures and sunny days. The corn and beans are up and looking very nice.

High today only 73°F with sunshine low of 55°F.

Stay Healthy and be Safe. .....

Hot ,dry, abd thirsty. Our winter snow pack is gone. Our snow fed streams and creeks are dry. We are already under extreeme fire danger restrictions. Threre are some clouds but the water evaporates before it hits the ground. Most clouds are from fires. Come visit while there is some green in the mountains. Get your miles in early,by 12-1:00 pm. Start around 5:00 am.temps around 99-100. Ride safe drink lots of water. Despite having the greatest snow on earth, most of Utah is a desert, so ride accordingly.

Yesterday, the temps were in the 90's,and it was hot, humid.

Last night we had thunderstorms, the temps were cooler in the morning.

Today the temps in the 60's, cloudy, and much cooler. We did get rain, (which we need).

Tomorrow the temps in the morning ( 40's and 50's), we will have plenty of sunshine, the temps will in the 70's in the afternoon. Temps will warm back up through the end of the week, highs back in the 80's on Thursday and Friday.

On Saturday will turn muggy again!
