• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Please think of our veterans, both those still living, and those that have passed, tomorrow, June 6th, the 71st anniversary of D-Day.

Thank you for the reminder to all. I thought of this today as I was looking at my calendar this AM.

Saw no mention on the news or other TV last night???????

Hi Orange Spyder Man,

Re: what our troops have done for all AMERICANS !!!!

Not just for Americans. D-Day was to liberate Europe.

15 yrs ago, TIME magazine asked readers to nominate their choice for Person of the Century.

At that time I would never have thought that Hillary Clinton and I would agree on anything; but we both nominated the American GI.

Thanks for posting this. Very interesting and informing. It really portrays the war in human terms that can be readily understood, rather than just saying X number of millions died in Europe. Great documentary.
