As you all know we will not be making this ride because of family commitments, like a 50th wedding anniversary. And from the sound of this discussion I would be lost and not know where to be at or what time either:joke::joke:.

Seriously, you all have a good ride and a good time doing whatever you do and enjoy yourselves on the 4th and never forget what this holiday is all about.

Thanks guys and gals, but to clear this up it's not my 50th anniversary. I've been married one time too many to ever reach that number, not mention I would have to gotten married at 13 :yikes:. This is my sister's anniversary.

To the gang Cowtown gang (and others of course).. I for one would like to try and get out of the Range at 6:30 in the evening.. For two reasons really, get home before dark and also it appears that there could be some early evening showers developing.. So having said that I am planning for a 6:30PM departure from the Range, also it will give Joe (Jefferson City Joe) time to get home prior to dark as well since I beleive he will be traveling the futherest...

I do appreciate the age mistake, but the truth was in the note and I also knew you were nowhere near my age. Everyday is a "my day off" since I'm retired and have been for several years. Just online this morning waiting for traveling companions to arrive so we can hit the road.

Thanks for thinking of me I have no clue where the ranch is and how long it will take me to get home but yes, I would like to get home before dark. I know from Cowtown it takes me about 1.5 hours if I go the speed limit. So whatever time it takes from the ranch to Cowtown then I would like to be able to be on the road by whatever time that would be.

See you all tomorrow. Guessing we still plan on meeting at 9am at the Hwy 63 exit off of 44 at the Mobil station, right?

Checked out the Mobil in Rolla it is probably 1/2 to a mile after you cross I44 in town. Saw something interesting coming home in 1/2 mile stretch there was 6 Highway patrols 5 each had a car pulled over and the 6th had his lights on pulling one over. Seen another one on the overpass I guess he was running radar. Kinda funny a little ways down the road the billboard said 1 cop every 10 mile this weekend. I guess the moral to this story is we better keep an eye open tomorrow.
