There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Juicebox/O2 modifier/O2 Sensor Question

I currently have the O2 modifier installed. If I install the juicebox, do I need to put the stock O2 sensor back in?

Depends on what you're looking for.....

If it's the regular Juice Box (not the Pro)... then you can run the o2 mod with it and you'll be very pleased with the throttle response.

Unsure about using it with the JB Pro.

Power Commander V comes with its own version of an O2 modifyer... but they still plug in the OEM sensor... not sure if they're really taking readings or not.

I don't think I need the JB Pro. Not looking to get that fine tuned. I have a glasspack exhaust and I don't think the O2 mod is performing too well with it. Thinking about trying the regualr JB to see if it works better. Nothing drastic is happening, but I am getting a lot of backfire on decel and the throttle response at low speed is not the greatest.

I ran the standard Juice Box and O2 modifyer for around 30,000 miles and the setup worked well for throttle response, etc.... MPG did suffer... but that's the price you pay.

If you get some extra $$$ and really want to do it right... get the Power Commander V with auto-tune...... been running that for a few thousand miles now and it's amazing. Great throttle response... but MPG has not suffered... getting the best MPG ever now......

Firefly,
How much would you say your mileage suffered?
Did you sell your Juice Box?

Yeah, uh, I really like the sound of the PC V w/Autotune. Don't think I can sell the price to my "better half" though, and she's the one riding.

I called my dealer about the cost of the regular Juice Box. He says "about $290-$300 and about $350 for the JB Pro. I says "I don't think so......".
Jeez, I found both of them on-line for anywhere from $50-$75 cheaper than that.

Yeah-- sold my regular Juice Box and my o2 mod.... with the too-rich settings I was running I was dropping about 5 mpg.... Now with PC V and auto-tune I'm running around 32-33 MPG......

If you're gonna spend $350 for a JB pro..... I'd hold off and get the PCV + Auto-tune which can be had for $500.

I've been running almost 3 years with the 02 mod., regular JB and Hindle exhaust, love it, great acceleration and my mileage has settled in at 32-33 highway, 28-29 city.

Bit the bullet today and bought the Power Commander 5 w/Auto tune. Figured by the time I buy the JB pro and the OEM O2 sensor, might as well spend some more and go all the way.

Just FYI, the regular Juice Box has been discontinued.

I asked this question before and got no answers. BESIDES the foolers and what not, is there a way to actually get the ECM reprogrammed to suit the mods via datalogging or some other more custom way than to simply raise the O2 sensor reading one way or the other?

The Spyder ECM cannot be reprogrammed or tuned...even by the dealers. You need an aftermarket device to modify the fuel delivery system.
