There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Juice Pro Adjustment for cooler temps?

Changed battery and now have mild sputtering at 3000-4000 rpm. Idle..smooth as silk...above 4k smooth as well. Will diminish some as engine warms Up. Will disappear if i roll on the throttle. Everything was installed and set in 80-90F weather...

It's in the 40s and 50s now. Perhaps enrich the midrange from 0 to 1? I'm running the PC 5 tune in slot 4.

Is this a case of cooler temps and dense air entering engine. Does the JB override the OEM adaptation given the ambient temp?

I don't have an AFR so like many others its trial and error. I appreciate your insight...Spyder has 10,800 miles...12k service done except plugs and wires.... (I know Baja..I'm procrastinating).

Thanks!

Do you still have the evap canister hooked up.Many of us had the same sputtering at those rpms untill we did the canisterectomy. The maps all have the same 10% increase over stock at the lower rpms and throttle %,They don't change untill you get to the higher rpms and throttle%.I would think that the bike runs richer at cooler temps, but I will leave that to the experts to chime in on that.

Thinking out loud.... Majority of canister removals were due to gas leaks and smells weren't they? I think this issue could be fuel/emission related though, as I can't comprehend why the sputtering is specific to midrange. If it was plugs or wires I'd imagine it would run rough throughout the throttle and even hesitate and cough at startup. Not my case at all.

It has only really reacted this way during the last two tanks, both have winterized fuel, and have seen our lower temperatures outside. I suspect we would have other Ca. Spyder riders already seeing the same issue if gas related, and temp wise,we are mild compared to others.

It's been my experience that warmer air creates a more fuel rich environment. That's a possible issue because JBs force a different fuel setting...and im in a different environment/temp. Does it ignore the temp sensor and any fuel changes the Spyder would perform in OEM ? Maybe others will chime in...altitude, humidity...temps in desert areas...all relevant and useful.

I will Seafoam and refuel it,and give it a long drive today. It's only had minor runs. Ill figure this out. Thanks for your help.

My understanding is you want to be fat in the winter, skinny in the summer, i.e. enrichen a little extra in the cold air, lean it out in the hot air.

If you're having trouble at 3,000-4,000 rpm, that should be the first dial on the JB Pro, not the midrange. Maybe bump that up a bit and see if that helps?

FYI: I run a Yoshi pipe and Kewlmetal intake with the JB Pro also using the PC map #5 as my baseline, tweaked as necessary. I had the bike all nice and dialed in this fall, and riding it now in the winter I had to enrichen it a bit on the low and high dials.

Thank you so much...maybe I need To go back to JB class... The first dial huh? Ill set to one and zero out the middle. I don't mean this negatively, but I'm glad I'm not the only one. My theory might be correct, once juiced you must compensate for weather. :)

Ya nailed it Dave, thank you. Settings are +1 / 0 / 0 with my PC5 tune and it ran flawless in 38F (150 ft above sea level at 80% humidity), 3-4 bars on temp from 0-80 mph. Thanks for your help. :)
