• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Juice Box Maxed Out

New here on the forum and new to Spyders but been around motorcycles for a while. Recently got a 2010 RS-M5; just installed a Two Brothers single slip on, Juice Box and K&N. Spyder ran slugish with Juice in the out of the box settings. Have been turning up the fuel settings to the point they are maxed out just to get the sputtering out and have turned backed the fuel timing points to 2 to try and get the fuel to come in sooner. Am I going about this wrong or are there similar experiences out there? Thanks for any help,

I had a 2009 RS-SE5 with performance air filter, juice box and hindle exhaust . To get rid of the backfiring and sputtering I had to add the O2 modifier . I would pull a plug and have a look you may have fouled them.:dontknow:

:agree: You shouldn't be able to max the settings without having a negative effect, pull the plugs and clean them and if their still is sputtering especially on deceleration when letting off the throttle, get the 02 mod.

Thanks but I'm not familiar with the O2 modifier. Is this a Two Brothers part or someone else?

You might be causing the effect on your own. The Spyder does not run as lean as it did when it first came out. BRP has slowly but surely made it run richer. If you are getting sputtering, you might be flooding the bike...meaning, dial it down, especially settings 2 and 3...keep off 4 as when you come out of a coast, you'll get backfiring.

I used to have mine dialed up a lot when I first got it, but with each update, I've had to turn it back...you might want to try this as your bike is configured the same as everyone elses'...

I thought of that, went back the other way and it would barely run. The good thing is I got in touch with the tech people at Dobeck Performance (the actual makers of the Juice Box) and they are being a big help. Going to try some different settings on Monday after talking with them again but right now, it looks like I'm going to have to send my box back for some adjustments. Will post back later when I have some more definate answers.
