• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Johnnyg in hospital

Thanks to everyone for your support, The surgery went well just over an hour not bad,I got home Sat afternoon it seems to get better and better each day hope to be back on my feet in another week. Looking forward to the ride on the 5th Oct. thanks again John

Update on your sitation John?

Chris
I'm doing fine considering everything that happened with in a few days. The surgery went well on the gall bladder & hernia. I'm up to walking a mile a day now. As far as the spot on the nose it turned out to be the aggressive basal cell carcinoma. They took a good chunk out of the tip of my nose. They said they got it all after taking a couple of slices. Needless to say it will take awhile for it to heal. I'm not getting the skin graft. They are going to let it build up slowly so I will be wearing a bandage for awhile. But it should not be a problem for riding and the Oct. 5th ride is still on. Thanks for all the well wishes. See y'all soon John

John, if you aren't up or let's just say if it is not in your best interest to be out riding in early October, there are always other dates that we could do this. I for one am very flexible. I hope to be around for awhile. Carol, if you are reading this, then please don't let John do anything that might hinder his recovery. As I said there are many other days ahead that we can ride.

Glad you are on your way back to normal. Like I told you, I know about that nose cancer deal, I had to have skin grafted so I am happy you don't have to go through that. Be careful and do what the doc says and your nose will look as good as mine;) We are keeping you in our prayers.

I've been out of the loop a few days (I know that Carol has been posting on Facebook) because the network at work got "compromised" and could not check Spyderlovers frequently, but it is good to hear from you brother!

up to walking a mile a day...that's pretty good....heal quick...good to find the skin cancer...and get rid of it...just had some burned off.....take care

Gall Blader

Been there done that. You should be good as new in a couple years. Maybe a little sooner. Ha  At you don't any longer have any gall.:2thumbs:
