• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

John Cusack Spyder Owner

Last time we had a self proclaimed celebrity on here, it didn't turn out so well.... :D

Oh, now...why'd you have to go and remind me?

That was an experience that I worked hard to block out of my memory and I had been successful up until now! :(

Strange how I don't have to put out any effort at all to forget most everything else! :dontknow:

Hey , Biker1

Are you friends with JCusack? I see in one of your Ireland photos your bike with a red Spyder>>>??????

John Cusack rules!
I would love to go riding with that dude...
I'd say, "Go that way really fast and if anything gets in your way... turn"

- quote from Better off Dead (awesome movie)

:agree:

I am also fond of "Sorry your mom blew up". :roflblack:

Oh crap, I better not let the cat out of the bag here and let everyone know I'm a celebrity! (in my own mind!)

I actually enjoyed our Star Trek friend. . . Well, up until the very end, anyway. :)

I think he started out well with most members here. I wanted to like the guy too but he was just too weird. The month(s) leading right up to the LA event is when things got really bad and he didn't last here too long after all the SpyderLovers made it home from LA. He tried a few 'encores' here under different aliases but was quickly rooted out.

ps. Nice to see you're still hanging around Derwin.

I bet Mario Lopez is a Spyder Lover. Jay Leno probably hires someone to be a SPyderLover for him:roflblack: But JC has the best movie voice of any SpyderLover I know!!!!!:p

I think your movies are great and have seen many of them. Your sister is also a remarkable actress. Can you imagine the surge in popularity of the Spyder if you were in a movie that had a plot that involved one? I think that would be really cool.

(you do realize I was joking--- right?) :D

I do like the movies both John and his sister have done-- talented bro and sis for sure!

Better off Dead and Grosse Point Blank are great ones.

He'd have to have GREAT connections since there are ZERO dealers in Ireland. I want to ride a Spyder on my next trip there (it will be my 13th) but can't find anywhere to rent one. Figured, I mighty just get one in London, ride to the Welsh coast, and take the ferry to Ireland. I sent e-mails to several dealers in the London area but only received one response...that said check with a dealer in Ireland. Du-uh

Looked into shipping my Spyder to Ireland but that seems to be cost prohibitive.

Guess my dream of Spydering about Ireland will remain just a dream

In the original BRP Press Release (at http://spyder.brp.com/en-GB/Share/C...rticleID=d11de103-d42d-4b48-a00a-ec1cf91a3a69), there are two UK points of contact listed:

Maria Whitlock

Kate Hitchings

My guess is one of them had a hand in securing his ride.
