• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tuesday we were preparing for a trip to the NC mountains for a weekend of riding and enjoying the scenery. NOT. Canceled due to heavy rains and flooding. That is just from a front coming in from the west. We're expected to get up to as much as 6 inches of rain here. Nevermind that it has been raining off and on since last Saturday. Today we are running our hurricane response list. Getting things together, bug out kit, gas for the generator, chainsaw ready, food, batteries, water etc. Oh, can't forget the 12 pack of Bud Lite, toilet paper, bread and a 50# sack of dog food. I don't drink Bud, I don't have a dog, but that's what they do here.

Been there..done that...

hope you don't get hit but even the wind and rain can be brutal. Lived in florida three time and had to keep the kit ready every season. Now I have one of natures other wonders yet this one has no warning nor time to prepare..earthquakes..!! :yikes: can't say I love these surprises....

we here in So Louisiana usually have to deal with hurricanes each year... but so far this year we have been lucky... sorry you have to deal with Joaquin...
hope Joaquin spares you of its potential problems...

Let's hope and :pray::pray: that this does not turn into another disaster hurricane. There is already enough for people to contend with.

My wife is a travel agent and she is touring a Sandals facility in Nassua Bahamas this week. Was supposed to be there until Saturday but they are being evacuated Friday morning. Last I heard the facility was still ok. They are expecting to get hit around 2 in the afternoon on Friday.:pray:

Good Luck!
Please let us know when she arrives home safely...

The latest reports are still saying that this Storm is heading out to sea...

My wife is landing in Vegas at around 8 pm. They made it out fine. Actually looks like they didn't need to evacuate them. I think it turned before it got to where they were.
