• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

JL audio system installed

Marine grade c.d./DVD unit

Good point! :D The fairing is all fiberglass so you can cut it as needed. The marine radio you see is very small so you should note there is very little room for large units on the "face" of the fairing and especially behind it. However, with some creative engineering, one might be able to install a flip-screen unit which would be very cool. I strongly considered it, but I have a serious dedication to using only waterproof electronics on the exposed areas of my Spyder. Nobody "plans" on getting caught in the rain, but IT HAPPENS!

Dan-am,

Have you seen this? What do you think?

My brother had a local shop install the JL audio speaker pods, JL audio amp, volume control, and aux jack on his RS-S last Friday. System sounds very good but was pricey at $1400 with labor and all components. He still needs to add a phone mount but for now he just plugs in the aux jack and lays the phone between the windshield and dash. He also has a jack in the frunk so he can plug the phone into the 12v charger and plug into the amp at the same time.

Orange Monster, I think the JL system is awesome! I use JL on my boat and can attest to their quality build and rich sound. I was so close to buying that same system but was concerned about frunk space. Sounds like he did it without using too much storage area. Tell your bro he made a great choice...looks great and sounds badazz!

HP Concept

Thanks!!!

Sorry for late response but yes HPConcept are the ones that make that fairing... I would love for them to make a sub box that fits the frunk and saves space... i hate to lose all of that space.. i carry alot of stuff in there at times.

what are we looking at? care to elaborate?

Its a bose sound link system. Built in battery, with at least 6hours of loud music. U can stream music thru bluetooth from any device. So no cables needed at all. All u need is somehow put speaker on the handlebar and u good to go…sound is great. In case of bad weather just take it off...
