• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

to all you folks that have beautiful ladies to ride with and so many places to go to all i can say is i am jealous, one of the problems of living in the new york city area is no scenery to look at. and the people i ride with are just old tattooed guys and they all have a attitude the photo's on this site are great and to look at the areas you ride in is fantastic. the only way i would get to see trees is to ride upstate new york and the major degan expressway to the George Washington bridge is a disaster and not worth the drive to get there. so ride on people and keep posting pictures because i live through you THANKS

escape_from_new_york_title.jpg Hi John, If you can get yourself out of there; head North to Harrimann, and then take Route 17 up to Sullivan County. We've got some roads and scenery that I know you'll enjoy!

ride

we used to go up there all the time with the 2 wheels where we could split lanes in traffic but now i have to sit and wait, i also was going to greenwood lake a lot on the new york side there are some nice places to hang out at

Can you catch a ferry over into Connecticut as an an escape route? :dontknow:
Grab a map, and take a look at Route 97 at it rolls up along the eastern side of the Delaware River above Port Jervis...
THAT'S the road that you want to ride! :2thumbs:

4 yrs. ago I had to come down to the airport to pick up my dog. At 4:00 am. it was smooth sailing both ways across the bridge. Try getting in and out at that hour, it might work for you for a long weekend or a week vacation. Good luck if you try.

Like Bob mentioned Take Rt. 97 north out of Port J., though the Hawks Nest then all the way up to Hancock To Rt.17 [quickway] back to the Thruway. Or just go as far as Narrowsberg, there are a few Biker friendly restaurant's between Barryvile and Narrowsberg If you haven't been to the Hawks nest and the upper Delaware River, You wont beleave that something that beautiful and natural can be so close to the Big Apple.

MOVE...................

Great ryde..!!

Although we started in Stamford we rode up to Bridgeport caught the ferry to port Jefferson and rode the length of Long Island through the city back to Conn. You just start from the city early, sadly you will end up in the city..great day trip..!!

Hey Chupa.... in the end you know there is nothing like Cali!

I grew up in Long Island, N.Y. and lived many other places... I was born in St. Paul Mn.
I have seen and visited almost every state in different times of the year! (business or otherwise).

Cali has just about all a ryder needs and we can get just about every extreme condition you would like to try or NOT :)

Sorry everyone but it is true!
I will live my life out here in Cali...... I love it too much.... And I am a really a redneck transplant (they call me that)! I swear I am the only hard arse republican here!

Bob
