• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

JD Power Survey

I got the postcard from BRP asking me to complete the JD Power survey about my dealer service. I was wondering if anybody ever won the $5000.00 in BRP cash that is offered for completing the survey? You never hear about the winners of these prizes.

I think the prize is $500 not $5000. And I'd be willing to bet that owners of all BRP products are included in these drawings.

:agree: with Ann... it's $500 worth of BRP accessories. I got $300 in BRP accessories one time by doing a phone survey.

Can't Help..!!

never got any post card or request for a survey...many times the winners are the ones that don't want folks to know of their good fortune...brp has to respect their wishes...:dontknow:

Well today I call the customer service dep. yes the CUSTOMER SERVICE DEP. for BRP to ask if they have any clues to what is going on with my ST-S, because since the recall now my bike is getting hot, and a very strong GAS SMELL is all over, the person told me that they are talking to my dealer regarding this issues and they are waiting on them (my dealer) for the results of some things they told them to do, well when I call BRP I was at the dealer and my mechanic has send all the information regarding his findings.

When I told that to the rep. he told me well I don't have an answer and don't know when we will have one for you since we have other people in front of you, so you need to wait your turn to get an answer from us, ok so how long should I wait, he say there is not a set time, they will get back to be when is my turn, I told him ok no problem I guess BRP should send me a new 2014 ST-S till you fix my issue, he very quickly told me no sir we can't do that, I told him ok I will give you my finance company number so that BRP makes my payments till the issue with my 2013 ST-S is fix, he told me sir we will get back to you when your turn comes, and that was the end of my call....

Well at least I ask for a free 2014 ST-S you have to give me that.....

(Realizing that the payments STILL have to be made... :gaah:)
I wonder just how much that would rattle them, if more of the affected folks mentioned that BRP should be footing the bill while the bike is getting fixed?
:dontknow:

...Just sayin'...

One things for sure. The manner in which they are currently handling things won't be soon forgotten.

The question is. Do they care ?
