• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Jay Leno on ethanol

Great article

Now that the damage is done as far as being mandated, it won't get changed back.

As long as the corn industry is lining politians pockets....

The man knows his stuff...

sadly there are not enough car guys out there to make it happen. If they can prove that fires/or other ethenol retated issues on new cars are caused by ethanol there would be a chance. What should be done is have stations offer non-ethanol fuel. Here most pumps have 87, 89, 91and I don't hear of anyone using the 89. So how about replacing that tank with the ethenol free fuel. Would undoubtedly cost more but would sell better. Jmo...

I agree! Good article. We still only have around 5% ethanol in our petrol
but the suppliers are lobbying an increase to 10%. At the moment the ethanol is added
to the petrol in the tanker that delivers fuel to the petrol stations as it is notoriously
difficult to store....it eats away conventional storage tanks .
