• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Jaguars burn to. Jags 1 Spyders 2

In our BMC club were many MG's, Austin's, Jag's, Triumph's and assorted other cars that all used Lucas electric components. We had Tee shirts made with the logo. "Lucas, prince of darkness".

JAGUAR MOTOR COMPANY is now owned by Tata of India.... Mr. Tata took ownership of Jag in 2007 or 08.... he directed his people to take the Jag to the next step... total performance and the highest level of quality... and he's succeeded... ya, Van Dykes Jag burnt, but any man-made item has it's faults.... i'm EXTREMELY HAPPY with my Jag... super-charger and 6 speed paddle-shifter..... VAROOOOOOOOM....

Let's not even get into the number of recent Ferrari fires lately. See, even a vehicle costing over a 100k can go up in flames. There have been more Ferrari fires than Spyder fires. nojoke

Not bad at all

I have been fortunate to have a couple of Jag's, though not fortunate enough to have the new one, which are quite nice. Both were XJ's, one of them a vandem plas and the other only a long wheel base. I have liked them more then their counterpart BMW's and Mercedes in terms of reliability. They are stand up cars in my experience. I dont mind that they have a bad rap, as that makes them depreciate quite rapidly and you can get a real bargain for a one or two year old car that will give you years of enjoyable driving :). JMHO
