Can you support just the front with two jack stands by jacking it up and placing jack stands ? Want to take front tires off to change tires.

Yes


With the parking brake on it shouldn't move.

I loosen the lugs a bit, jack it up, support it, then finish removing.

I've had them inside on something solid...but it doesn't balance well.

And I've had them outside under the a arms as close to under a shock that I could get them...steadier that way.

I have a yellow harbor freight jack, work for what I need. Tell it's made cheap. Will do for now.
