• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That's a real nice looking jack. Now if I can just justify the additional cost over a Craftsman.

Thanks....

nice to see things in action...Harbor Freight is a good place to go and see the different models and physically work them weather you buy them there or not. Yours is much nicer...

These are nice with maybe one limitation, the max height is not very high for some Spyder things. The specs listed the max height, thought it was 18" or just under.

Nice setup for routine stuff.

The yellow aluminum Craftsman jack does well. Stores easy inder my toolbox.

I've got the same jack as in post #1, bought a few years ago as a motorcycle jack. I used it once on the Spyder but not comfortable with the placement. Where is a good spot for lifting?

I need to buy a new ATV/Motorcycle jack, I use a $99 craftsman ATV jack on my ATVs. No way am I lifting my Spyder with that. :yikes:

You need to contact J&S and get yourself the proper adapter. The one shown is for a 15RT and this baby is secure. I can roll it and spin in in the garage. You could even lower the security rods and release the jack and store the spyder sideways against the wall.

Thanks for the link, just ordered the A-dapter.:riding:

Larry, or anyone else with this jack - was just looking at the oil pan adapter and saw this. Thought it was a great idea to put wax paper down on the chute to make cleanup easier...

It looks like that raised part on the short bar would kind of hook into the end of the frame where it is open. I'm sure that will be obvious when in hand.

For those interested, When I drink my oil it always made a bit of a mess. I posted a while back about trimming the plastic panels underneath so the opening is bigger.
